The Violin Lady This was Des’s first piece sculpted in 1995. He needed to raise money for his studio. He had an idea that he had this hidden ability to sculpt without ever having had a lesson. This was his first attempt at sculpting which turned into a very successful career.

The Sax Player. Having come out of a music career, Des’s first sculpting efforts were inspired by music which he composed for each piece. The Sax player was one of the first and most enjoyable pieces.
